In order to install a concealed hinge, you must first measure the distance between the mounting plate and the door. For a flush-wall door, the distance between the mounting plate and the hinge cup should be 35 millimeters. Drill a hole until the line is reached, and then install the mounting plate. Hold the door in an open position while installing the hinge, and check that the flanges of the hinge are touching the surface of the flush-wall door.
