Concealed Cabinet Door Hinges
If you are looking for concealed cabinet door hinges for your flush-wall cabinets, there are a few different types that you can choose from. European Hinges are a popular choice, and they’re available for both face-frame and frameless cabinets. They have a mounting plate and cup that seat in a 35mm circular mortise. They have two or three adjustment positions, depending on your cabinet style.
In order to install a concealed hinge, you must first measure the distance between the mounting plate and the door. For a flush-wall door, the distance between the mounting plate and the hinge cup should be 35 millimeters. Drill a hole until the line is reached, and then install the mounting plate. Hold the door in an open position while installing the hinge, and check that the flanges of the hinge are touching the surface of the flush-wall door. A rafter square can help you keep the hinge aligned when you’re installing it.
